Custom Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo: Hundreds of Hours Spent on Paint Alone, Meticulous Craftsmanship to the Max
Recently, Porsche’s Sonderwunsch special customization department unveiled an exclusive bespoke Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo. Named the Porsche Taycan (Parameters | Inquiry) Turbo S Sport Turismo Soho House One, the vehicle features a unique matte custom paint finish, with the entire painting process taking hundreds of hours. The interior also boasts exclusive custom leather upholstery and wood trim, among other details that highlight its distinctiveness.
In terms of exterior design, the vehicle blends Porsche’s classic sports car characteristics while deeply drawing inspiration from Soho Home’s iconic design aesthetics. The paint, named Greek Street Green, is inspired by the exterior of the first Soho Home in London. The matte paint is paired with hand-painted body side stripes, and the tailgate features an exclusive Soho Home emblem. The wheels are finished in contrasting colors, offering a rich visual layering.
The vehicle’s unique custom design extends to the interior as well, with seat patterns sourced from the brand’s classic motifs. Other interior details include Truffle Brown leather, custom exclusive floor mats, and a variable light panoramic sunroof with exclusive geometric patterns. The cabin is also adorned with wood trim, whose special finishing process took 16 months of raw material selection and process development to finally come to fruition.
In terms of performance, the new car is still equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a combined maximum power of 700 kW and a peak torque of 1,110 Nm. It is paired with a 105 kWh battery pack, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h.
