Haval Great Wall H10 Large Crossover: Interior Shown

The Haval brand is actively preparing for the launch of sales of its new hybrid crossover. The model will be available in two length variants, with a five- or six-seat cabin.

The first official images of the new flagship Haval crossover were published back in April. In the same month, an online contest to choose the name was concluded among netizens – on the domestic market, the SUV will be sold as the Great Wall H10, but specifically under the Haval brand. Let us remind you that the brand belongs to the Great Wall Motor (GWM) concern. So today, the manufacturer held an online presentation of the flagship, during which its interior was shown for the first time. However, first, let’s go over the exterior again.

The Haval Great Wall H10 has a deliberately brutal appearance. The main design highlights are square headlights combined with a massive blank insert, imposing bumpers, and vertical taillights. The H10 also features a side-hinged tailgate with an external spare wheel. Of course, there is also an autopilot with a lidar above the windshield.

As previously reported, the new Haval is built on the Guiyuan platform (also known as GWM One), which also underpins the premium crossover Wey V9X. The Haval Great Wall H10 will be available in two length variants – 5138 or 5299 mm.

The remaining dimensions are the same for both modifications: width – 2050 mm, height – 1970 mm, wheelbase – 3000 mm. The models are fitted with 20-inch wheels. Two-tone body paint and power-retractable side steps are also available.

The Haval Great Wall H10 crossover will be offered with a five- or six-seat cabin – apparently, these are the “short” and long-wheelbase versions. In the five-seat SUV, there are blank inserts behind the rear doors, while the three-row version has additional windows.

Inside, there is an instrument screen integrated into the front panel and a large multimedia tablet “attached” to the dashboard. On the center tunnel are exposed cupholders, a row of switches, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. Charging pads are also located in the doors.

The tunnel houses a box with heating and cooling functions, and at its end there is a touch panel for settings. The second-row seats come with footrests. The seats certainly also have heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The equipment list also includes an augmented reality head-up display and a ceiling screen for rear passengers.

The Haval Great Wall H10 is an all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid with the Hi4 system. The flagship is certified in two versions – with 1.5 and 2.0 turbocharged petrol engines producing 167 and 238 hp, respectively. There is still no information about the electric motors. According to Chinese media, the Great Wall H10 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 42.8 kWh, and the electric-only range is 176 or 180 km.

In China, the flagship Haval Great Wall H10 will go on sale before the end of the year. Subsequently, the crossover is expected to be exported, but likely simply as the Haval H10.
