StradVision Signs Contract for Next-Generation Autonomous Driving Technology E2E Mass Production Development
StradVision (CEO Kim Jun-hwan), a vision AI-based automotive software company, announced that it has signed a contract with an automotive customer for the mass production development of E2E (End-to-End)-based autonomous driving technology and has commenced development.
This project is an E2E-based autonomous driving technology development initiative in which AI models comprehensively perform the entire process, from the vehicle’s perception of its surrounding environment to driving judgment and decision-making. Recently, global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers have been pushing to adopt E2E technology to address the limitations of existing rule-based approaches and to implement more advanced driving performance, with the related market also expanding.
Through this contract, StradVision will carry out the development of next-generation E2E-based autonomous driving technology for mass production, with the project targeting application in the customer’s mass-produced vehicles in the second half of 2027.
The company has already supplied Vision AI software to more than 5 million mass-produced vehicles in the market, validating its technological capabilities and mass production experience. This project holds significance as an important milestone for StradVision, as it expands its technological scope beyond existing Vision AI technology into the domains of vehicle driving judgment and decision-making.
In particular, E2E technology is drawing attention as a core technology for implementing future mobility services, including advanced ADAS, Level 3 or higher autonomous driving, and robotaxis. The global automotive industry is also accelerating the development of E2E technology as one of the key directions for next-generation autonomous driving architectures.
StradVision has expanded its business scope from 2D Vision-based recognition technology to 3D Perception technology, and through this E2E project, it is extending its technological reach into the domains of vehicle judgment and decision-making, advancing its next-generation AI-based autonomous driving technology roadmap one step further.
