Budget sedan Mitsubishi Attrage has become slightly more aggressive after the facelift

Mitsubishi has updated its compact four-door sedan aimed at budget-conscious markets. The models received a refreshed appearance and improved safety systems.
The current Mitsubishi Attrage sedan (known as Mirage 4G in some markets) debuted in 2013, a year after the premiere of the related Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback (in Europe, the five-door was called Space Star). Initially, the family was global, but the sales geography gradually narrowed. As a result, Southeast Asia is now the main habitat for the family. The compacts had already been modernized, and now Mitsubishi has carried out another update. True, so far it has only affected the four-door and only in Thailand.

The Mitsubishi Attrage sedan has been given a redesigned front end. The new grille is now concave and mesh-style (the pre-facelift model featured horizontal slats on the grille). The inserts forming an “X” have become larger, and they are now black instead of chrome. Finally, a curved trim piece has appeared on the bumper.

Dimensions remain unchanged. The Thai Mitsubishi Attrage is 4305 mm long, 1670 mm wide, 1515 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2550 mm. The model is offered with 14- or 15-inch wheels.

The interior has not been touched by the reforms. As before, the Attrage sedan is offered in two trim levels in Thailand. The base Active version includes a multimedia system with a 7-inch screen, fabric upholstery, and a pair of airbags. The Smart version adds leather, climate control, a rearview camera, and cruise control. Additionally, the top-spec Mitsubishi Attrage now features improved forward collision warning and lane departure warning systems.

The three-cylinder 1.2-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine now meets Euro-6 standards. Power remains at 78 hp. The engine is paired with a CVT.
For Thailand, the Mitsubishi budget family is produced locally. The facelifted Attrage sedan is already available to order, priced at 564,000 – 619,000 baht, which is equivalent to approximately 1.3 million – 1.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
