Changan announced the start of sales of Deepal S07 in the Russian market, price revealed
The recommended retail price of the new crossover in Russia is 5,289,900 rubles, and it is equipped with a hybrid system with a combined output of 238 hp.
The Deepal sub-brand, owned by Chinese company Changan, officially entered the Russian market in 2026, and the second model after the G318 SUV was the Deepal S07 crossover. The brand’s local office announced the new model in late June 2026, shortly after revealing details about its equipment, and has now published the price of the crossover and announced the start of sales in Russia.
In its home market, this crossover is sold under the name Deepal S7 (as well as Shenlan S7), and its premiere in China took place back in spring 2023. The model is now already presented in Europe, although there it is offered only with a fully electric powertrain. In Russia, however, the Deepal S07 arrived with a hybrid system that includes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which is not mechanically connected to the wheels and serves as a generator for the traction battery with a capacity of 31.73 kWh.
The combined output of the system is 238 hp, with a maximum torque of 320 Nm. This hybrid crossover accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 5.7 liters per 100 km, and fast charging from 30% to 80% takes 30 minutes. When driving purely on electric power, the Deepal S07 has a range of 174 km, and the total driving range (with a full fuel tank and charged battery) is 992 km.
The crossover’s exterior was created at the company’s European design center in Turin (Italy) under the leadership of Bertrand Bach. The model features slanted LED headlights with animation, flush door handles, 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels, frameless doors, a panoramic roof with an area of 1.9 square meters with an “electric curtain,” double-layer front side windows, as well as a power tailgate with remote opening function.
The Deepal S07 is based on the modular EPA1 platform. The overall length of the crossover intended for the Russian market is 4750 mm, width is 1930 mm, height is 1625 mm, and the wheelbase is 2900 mm. The drag coefficient is 0.258, ground clearance is 165 mm, trunk volume is 445 liters, and cargo space can be increased to 1385 liters with the second row of seats folded down.
The equipment list of the Changan crossover includes: driver and front passenger airbags, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output function (power – 3.3 kW), rear cross-traffic assist with braking function, cruise control, traffic jam assist and lane change assist, blind spot monitoring, and a 540° surround-view camera system. The “winter package” includes anti-corrosion body treatment, heated windshield washer nozzles, heated exterior mirrors, heated seats for all rows, and a heated steering wheel.
On the front panel there is a rotating Sunflower touchscreen display with a 15.6-inch diagonal, and the infotainment system is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as gesture control functionality. The traditional instrument cluster is replaced by an augmented reality head-up display. The model also comes with a wireless smartphone charging pad with cooling function (power – 40 W) and a Sony sound system with 14 speakers.
The Deepal S07 features an interior trimmed in perforated eco-leather with contrast stitching, front seats with power adjustment and ventilation, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a center armrest with cupholders for second-row passengers, individual reading lights, and a climate control display for them as well.
The warranty on the Deepal S07 is 5 years or 150,000 km, and on the battery – 8 years or 160,000 km. The recommended retail price of the new crossover on the Russian market is 5,289,900 rubles (excluding current promotions and programs).
