Big test drive of the TOP-5 AUTO finalists
On July 23, a large test drive was held for cars that made the shortlists in the five main categories of the National Award of Automotive Business Experts “TOP-5 AUTO” 2026. In addition to competing for victory in their category, each of the models will also contend for the title of “Car of the Year.”
The event was attended by jury members, representatives of automakers, and award partners. They tested more than 25 car models.
Traditionally, the large test drive took place on the M-11 “Neva” high-speed highway with the support of the North-Western Concession Company, part of the NPS infrastructure holding. The company built and operates the toll road on the section from Moscow to Solnechnogorsk — it is this infrastructure that annually serves as the venue for testing the award finalists. The high level of safety and excellent quality of the road surface create ideal conditions on this section for an objective assessment of the dynamic characteristics of the cars.
The official awards ceremony for the winners of the “TOP-5 AUTO 2026” award will take place in October in Moscow.
