Renault enters police multi-purpose patrol car market for the first time… to supply Grand Koleos
Renault Korea Motors (CEO Nicolas Paris) is expanding into the public sector vehicle market after being selected for the National Police Agency’s multi-purpose patrol car supply project.
The Grand Koleos gasoline 2.0 turbo 4WD model has been selected as a replacement vehicle for the 2025 National Police Agency multi-purpose patrol car pilot project, with a total of 50 units to be supplied, and an additional 60 units for 2026 supply have also been selected.
Renault Korea Motors has entered the National Police Agency’s multi-purpose patrol car market, which has an annual volume of 120 units, for the first time. This supply follows the National Police Agency’s policy of advancing and diversifying multi-purpose patrol vehicle models, and the Grand Koleos received high marks in preference surveys based on its excellent product competitiveness, including abundant convenience and safety features, leading to its selection as a replacement vehicle for the pilot project.
The 50 units contracted for 2025 have been deployed to police stations across the country after police special-purpose modifications and final inspection. Renault Korea Motors has also secured an additional 60 units for the 2026 multi-purpose patrol car project, and this volume is scheduled to be fully delivered by December of this year.
