Self-developed ECA pure electric architecture: smart精灵#2 concept car interior revealed for the first time!
Recently, smart officially released the interior design and interior details of the smart #2 (Parameters | Inquiry) concept car. The exterior design of the smart #2 concept car was created by the Mercedes-Benz global design team, highlighting a sense of luxury. At the same time, the new car is built on the self-developed ECA electric compact architecture, ensuring high-quality pure electric attributes. The company has clearly stated that the production version of the #2 will be launched simultaneously in China, Europe, and overseas markets by the end of 2026.

From the interior design perspective, the smart #2 concept car features a boldly innovative S-shaped wave-style center console panel. The concave section on the driver’s side is paired with a three-spoke steering wheel and other steering and driving controls, while the passenger side dashboard presents a convex design. The air conditioning vents adopt the design concept of fighter jet turbine nozzles, adding a sporty touch to the new car. Additionally, the new car features a front through-type seat design, creating a class-leading riding experience within a compact space.

Furthermore, the new car adopts a minimalist white-gold cabin, with details such as handles, audio systems, and interior air vent openings adorned with gold accents, conveying a sense of space, interaction, and new luxury aesthetics.

The new car’s ECA electric compact architecture balances top-tier safety standards, outstanding dynamic handling, and极致 space utilization. The Tridion Cell cage-type high-strength safety cockpit design meets modern stringent safety standards. According to previous reports, the new car is expected to be equipped with a 30kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of nearly 400km under CLTC conditions, and a 10%-80% DC fast charging time of just 20 minutes.
