Angelelli Project 754: A Radically Lightweight Generative Supercar Based on the Porsche 911

Italian company Angelelli Automobili has announced the Project 754 supercar, which will be based on a Porsche 911 of the 991 or 992 generation. The donor car’s construction will be optimized and lightened using artificial intelligence, resulting in performance reaching a much higher level.
There are already countless exotic conversions based on the Porsche 911 in the world, but Angelelli Automobili believes that another such newcomer will find its place in the exclusive car market. The Angelelli Project 754 also currently exists only in the form of renders, but the idea itself is quite interesting. Angelelli wants to radically improve the original Porsche 911 using the innovative Alien Mesh Design system based on artificial intelligence. This system analyzes the construction of the main components and assemblies of the finished car, and then reconstructs them taking into account the possibility of manufacturing on 3D printers from titanium and aluminum-based alloys.


As a result of this optimization, openwork structures are obtained for suspension arms, engine mounts, piston skirts, structural struts, wheels, interior parts, and much more. Angelelli expects that the Project 754’s weight will not exceed 1,150 kg, while the lightest stock Porsche 911 of the current 992 generation weighs more than 1,450 kg.


The name Project 754 refers to the experimental Porsche 754 T7 coupe from the early 1960s, but conceptually it has nothing in common with it. The Project 754 is a modern powerful supercar that will be produced in two versions — the rear-engine 754 R and the mid-engine 754 M. Both versions will be equipped with a modernized 6-cylinder flat engine with a displacement of 4,077.5 cm³ and maximum output of up to 850 hp and 950 Nm. The gearbox will be an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic or a 6-speed manual. Acceleration to 100 km/h will take 2.3 seconds, with a top speed of 338 km/h.



The Project 754 body will feature new aerodynamic bodywork made of carbon fiber, capable of generating up to 960 kg of downforce at a speed of 285 km/h. The lightweight suspension will be carefully tuned. The brakes will be carbon-ceramic: front brake disc diameters — 420 mm (10-piston calipers), rear — 390 mm (4-piston calipers). Center-lock wheels are fitted with performance tires sized 275/35 ZR 20 at the front and 335/30 ZR 21 at the rear.

Angelelli plans to produce only 50 examples of the Project 754 supercar — 25 in the 754 R version and 25 in the 754 M version, each one unique and configured for a specific client. The price of the Angelelli Project 754 R starts at €435,000, while the price of the Angelelli Project 754 M starts at €635,000, and in both cases the cost of the donor Porsche 911 is not included. Thus, the price of a fully loaded Angelelli Project 754 M could easily exceed one million euros.
