Ommo and Yitoa Join Forces to Expand In-Vehicle Smart Near-Field Projection Solutions
On June 23, OMW Group announced the official signing of a strategic cooperation memorandum with Yintel Smart Control, a comprehensive semiconductor solution provider. The two parties will fully leverage their respective strengths to engage in deep collaboration in innovative product areas such as in-vehicle intelligent near-field projection solutions. This cooperation will accelerate the commercial deployment of MEMS Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) technology in the automotive-grade sector, promote the large-scale application of optical interaction scenarios in smart vehicles, and inject new momentum into the standardization and ecosystem co-building of the in-vehicle projection industry.
According to the strategic cooperation memorandum, the two parties will fully utilize OMW Group’s deep expertise in global automotive customer resources and in-vehicle system integration, as well as Yintel Smart Control’s core technical capabilities in MEMS Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) projection and in-vehicle chip technology, to jointly develop and promote innovative in-vehicle products, including vehicle-mounted external ground projection lights. Based on this, the two parties aim to create cost-effective, rapidly iterable in-vehicle intelligent near-field projection solutions with faster development speed and optimized system costs.

Through this efficient synergy of “chip customization + system integration,” the two parties can significantly reduce product costs, improve development efficiency, and achieve rapid iteration from solution design to market application, with a target to reach mass production capability by early 2027. This will better meet the growing demand from OEMs for cost-effective intelligent projection solutions. Leveraging OMW Group’s global customer and channel resources, the jointly developed in-vehicle intelligent near-field projection solutions are expected to be further promoted in overseas markets, providing global consumers with safer and more interactive smart mobility experiences.
