Mitsubishi Motors has officially released the official images of the mid-cycle facelifted eK Cross EV model. Positioned as a standard micro electric K-Car, it is designed for short-distance urban commuting and household use. This update optimizes the exterior design, cabin interior, and other aspects, while also adding an external power outlet.
In terms of exterior, the vehicle features a new bumper design, retaining the split headlight structure. The original grille position is replaced by a slim, continuous light strip, with a smaller air intake below, giving the overall look a cleaner and softer appearance. The side profile remains largely unchanged, maintaining the compact dimensions typical of a K-Car. For paint options, five new two-tone body colors and two single-tone colors have been added, bringing the total available color choices to 11.
Inside the cabin, a new 100V AC power outlet has been added below the center console, with a maximum output of 1500 watts, allowing external appliances to be connected during camping trips. The top-tier version adds two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. Additionally, the heated steering wheel and front seat heating features will be available on mid-range models. The powertrain remains unchanged, featuring a pure electric system with a maximum power of 47 kW and a peak torque of 195 Nm, paired with a 20 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTC range of 180 km.
