Automotive News learned that on June 16, Jingwei Hengrun and Saike Power officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will focus on the deep integration of “intelligence + solid-state energy” to jointly explore new paths for the commercial application of high-safety, high-energy-density solid-state batteries.

According to the agreement, the two parties will adhere to the principles of “complementary advantages, resource sharing, and mutual benefit,” taking cutting-edge terminals such as humanoid robots, specialized operational robots, and intelligent transportation equipment as pioneering scenarios. They aim to advance solid-state batteries from material innovation to large-scale commercial use, jointly creating products with global market competitiveness.
Zhang Mingxuan, Vice President of Jingwei Hengrun and Dean of the Central Research Institute, stated that solid-state batteries are becoming a key technology in the transformation of the intelligent terminal industry. Saike Power possesses a complete capability in the field of solid-state electrolyte materials and solid-state batteries, from fundamental research to engineering transformation. Jingwei Hengrun will leverage its strengths in system integration, electronic and electrical architecture, and global service networks to jointly drive solid-state energy from technological breakthroughs to large-scale application.
