Production of Lada Aura with a Pair of Updates Has Started at AVTOVAZ

The manufacturer has kept the previous prices for the Russian brand’s sedan, which has received an expanded list of equipment.
The fact that the Russian manufacturer developed a car intended primarily for budget organizations and regional-level officials became known in 2023. Thus, the business sedan Lada Aura in question is based on the Vesta sedan, which had its wheelbase extended. As a result, passengers seated in the second row received 25 cm of additional free space (1060 mm for legs in total). The Aura went on sale in autumn 2024, and the refreshed version hit the market in late January 2026.
Updated 09.07.2026: both Lada Aura trims, which received a climate control system and a telematic system, have kept their previous prices. Thus, the “Premier” variant starts at 2,269,000 rubles, and “Status” starts at 2,466,000 rubles.

Now the AVTOVAZ press service has announced that the model will receive an expanded list of equipment: it will include climate control and the Lada Connect Start telematic system. Let us recall that the Vesta recently received the same upgrades. It is known that the business sedan’s new climate control system and telematics will be included in all trim levels, starting with the base “Premier” version.

As the company reminded, the climate control automatically maintains the set temperature and distributes air flows in the cabin. As with the Vesta, the control unit for the system includes several physical rotary knobs with mini-displays: they show temperature information, as well as symbols indicating the direction of air flows and their intensity.
With the help of the Lada Connect Start telematic system and the “Mir Lada” mobile app, Aura owners will be able to remotely receive information about the vehicle’s location, fuel level, engine temperature, battery charge level, etc. In addition, a function for monitoring the status of doors, trunk, and engine is provided (suitable when the car is used by multiple users, for example, if it is a company vehicle).

The equipment list of the base “Premier” version includes: four airbags, cruise control, electronic stability control, heated seats and steering wheel, keyless entry with remote engine start, and the Lada EnjoY infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen. The “Status” trim comes with a 10-inch multimedia screen, natural leather seat upholstery in black or light gray, and a two-tone instrument panel.

Only one powertrain is provided: under the hood of the business sedan sits a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum power of 122 hp and torque of 170 Nm, paired exclusively with an automatic transmission. The Lada Aura takes 12.5 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h, and the top speed is 175 km/h.
