Moscow Mile 2026″ Concluded: Rain Changed the Rules, but Did Not Take Away the Emotions

Moscow Region, RDRC Racepark – The second day of the “Moscow Mile 2026” speed festival brought participants and spectators a new surprise that adjusted the sporting scenario.
On Sunday morning, the track was still in good condition, and drivers actively used the final hours of qualifying to improve their results. However, at the beginning of the afternoon, the skies once again unleashed heavy rain on the track, and the air temperature dropped sharply. The drag strip surface became slippery, putting the safe conduct of the final paired runs at risk.

After consultations with the judging panel and organizers, a difficult but the only correct decision was made: the final elimination bracket runs were cancelled, and the winners and prize-winners were determined based on the qualifying runs held on Saturday and in the first half of Sunday.
Thus, “Moscow Mile 2026” became the fastest and shortest round in the project’s history – but no less spectacular and memorable for it.
