The 2026 Ford Explorer Tremor is a credible three-row off-road SUV with genuine mechanical upgrades. It gains 1 inch of ground clearance (8.7 total), revised bumpers for better angles, skidplates, Bridgestone all-terrain tires, a Torsen limited-slip rear differential, and AWD. The 3.0L twin-turbo V-6 produces 385 hp (down 15 hp for emissions) and 415 lb-ft torque. In testing, it hit 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and ran a 14.1-second quarter mile at 97.1 mph, outperforming the Platinum. Braking from 60 mph took 132 feet, and lateral grip was 0.79 g.
